Our bicycles arrive 90% assembled in a box. The box includes everything you need to ride the bikes except for a pump.
To assemble the bike you have to attach the front wheel, pedals, handle bar, insert the seat and do some minor tuning and tweaking.
We highly recommend you get your bicycle assembled by a trained bicycle mechanic.
All tools required for assembly are included. Detailed assembly instructions will be emailed upon purchase and can be found at this link.
Yes, both the front and rear calliper brakes are included.
Yes, you can coast on all Regal bicycles. You can turn the Classics and Premiums into a Fixed Gear bike by flipping the rear wheel around and attaching the chain to the "Fixed" cog.
Regal Classics and Premiums come as Single Speed by default, giving you the ability to coast. It is just like riding any regular bike but without the ability to change gears.
You can change it to a "fixie" by flipping the rear wheel around and attaching the chain to the "fixed" cog. When "fixed" you can't coast and need to use the strength of your legs to slow down the bike.

Though both bikes are a fantastic choice for anyone getting into cycling. The Premiums have an edge on components as they tend to be lighter and sourced from more established brand named manufacturers.
The hubs on the Premiums are made by Novatec, are hallow, lighter and more precise.
For models 2022 onwards we worked with FSA™ - Full Speed Ahead - to deliver the best in class headset, seatpost and stem.
Additionally, the Premiums use WTB ThickSlick® tires, and the drivetrain is made where SRAM components are made.

To keep our prices competitive we are only online and ship from our warehouse in Toronto.
Our Premiums, Classics and 3-Speeds can take a maximum of 700C x 32mm tires.
The rider weight limit on all of our bikes is 250 lbs with an allowance of 10 lbs of cargo.
Yes, we offer a two year warranty on the frames and forks if the bicycle is assembled by a bike shop. Please visit the Shipping, Warranty & Returns page for details.
You may return the product and we will promptly send you the correct order. Regal Bicycles will pay for the return shipping if the wrong order was delivered.
Serial numbers can be found under the bottom bracket of the bike; we do not track serial numbers.
Generally, our Small size fits anyone between the heights of 5' 3" to 5' 6" (168 cm) with a minimum inseam of 29 inches.
Our Medium size fits anyone between the heights of 5' 6" (168 cm) and 5' feet 10" (178 cm).
Our Large size fits anyone 5' 10" (180 cm) to 6' 2" (188 cm)
Our XL size anyone between 6' 1" to 6' 4".
