Got this second hand spectre during the pandemic. It was my first fixie... was a little intimidated to ride it in fix gear mode at first but now this is my go to bike for most occasions and I just love it! Don't know what year mine was from it has the red rims and chrome forks, I really like its looks too.
I've been riding bicycles for a long time (I'm 76), and this is one of the nicest bikes I've owned. It was great right out of the box as a flat bar single speed, and it's even better now as a fixie with bullhorn bars. It rides smoothly, it handles brilliantly, and it looks good. (My apologies for blacking out the logos. I'm logophobic.)
This bike was meant to be the first "adult" bike for my 12-year-old son (we got a size small, and in truth, he's probably about an inch shorter than the recommended height, but he fits just fine). He was excited about riding the bike in fixed gear mode and of it being a very lightweight mode of getting around the city. He's been loving the look and feel of the thing (although he did complain about feeling muscles in his legs that he never knew existed before - ahhh, the sense of fixie discovery!!!). He even bragged that he feels so fast on it. I know I'll never be able to keep up with him again...
I purchased the 3 Speed Stealth two weeks ago and haven’t stopped riding it since. The shipping and set up process was so thoughtfully designed, it literally took 2 days to arrive and an hour before I was on the road. It handles so smoothly and looks great. Totally recommend this bike and company. Thank you!
the bike (3 speed stealth) delivery came fast and was easy to assemble. I did have a bit of a hard time filling up the tires since these use a different valve, presta instead of schrader. other than that this bike rides well and is perfect for booting around T.O.
happy riding!
What a sweet ride! Simple, reliable, great workmanship, fun to ride and good looking. I just love the bike!
Thank you Regal and I mean it, from an Army Veteran for 30 years :)
It’s very good bicycle for city, i recommend it for everybody wants a good bicycle quality price.
I received my Spectre bike a couple of days ago and required some assistance with the assembly. I emailed Regal around 11:45 pm and Tom answered right away. That’s what I call customer service.
With his help I was able to resolve my problem and enjoyed a wonderful bike ride in the morning. Thank you Regal for the wonderful bike and again the excellent customer service.
I’m satisfied with the bike. Once all the joints were properly tightened the bike is solid and gets me where I need to go!
Only thing was that the Allan key for the gear shifter was not included.
I would recommend this bike to others.
I got my Spectre about a month and a half ago and I’ve been riding it everyday here (got lucky with the weather) in Toronto. First the build and ride, it’s super solid, handles great, very fast, gear ratio is bang on for the city, feels really well built. I was afraid of the slicks in the rain but to be honest I haven’t had any issues and they are super grippy. Assembly, I followed the instructions and the assembly was easy. Looks wise, it looks amazing, way better in person, when I’m not riding it, it’s hanging in my living room. Pictures don’t do it justice, and the matte black finish is perfect. Customer service, I had a lot of questions before the purchase, they were quick to respond and answered all my questions. Shipping, I ordered it on a Monday and hand it delivered to my condo by Wednesday. Anything else, I’d say don’t hesitate, these are great bikes. I’ve been riding single speeds for the last 20 years and it’s up there with bikes 3x the price.
The delivery was fast and the bike is really good.
Have been riding for 2 weeks now, very happy with my purchase.
Have had a Regal for 8 years now......have travelled with it and ridden it on all kinds of vacations.....this bike's simplicity and solid build are a joy. It turns heads everywhere I go for it's clean lines and European sensibility.......got one for my wife as well.
Bike arrived very quickly, well packaged in perfect condition. Assembly was easy and didn't take long. It looks really good with good components and build. Very satisfied, can't wait till Spring!
Very pleased with the model and super happy with the back up, support and advice from Steve Irwin at Vino Velo here in Virgil … he put me on track for ‘The Spectre’ and quickly got me up and running!
Great bike. Light & easy to ride. Fast delivery, clear assembly directions & telephone support.
A great inclusion would be a side stand.
I ordered the 3-speed stealth, but received the guardian instead. I was too lazy and impatient to send it back. Luckily the rear wheel can be left as a single-speed instead of having it in fixed gear. Really really love it so far and I'm actually glad they sent me the wrong bike because now I have to choice to switch to fixed gear if I wanted to lol. The chrome is also growing on me.
Ordered my bike and it arrived in less than 4 days. Once opened and assembled, I was incredibly happy with my purchase. This is a solid, no nonsense bike that I will use as my everyday rider. The bike is great looking and is an assembly of solid components with a great long lasting frame. Overall very satisfied and would recommend Regal to friends.
Assembly of the 3-speed stealth was easy, and it has been a reliable bike so far
I bought the 3-speed Stealth in May to replace my name brand fitness bike. I commute daily from the south end of Calgary to downtown, a round trip of about 58 km on mostly paved pathways. I usually spend a lot of time and money maintaining bikes which is why I wanted to try the Stealth – I like the simple low maintenance components and the idea of an internal gear hub. I put the bike to the test, rode it hard and put over 4,000 km on it since May, in all kinds of weather conditions. It’s exceeded my expectations, requiring very little maintenance (chain re-tensioning) while performing no different than bikes I’ve spent thousands on. In case you’re wondering if a 3-speed can handle the grind of a long daily commute, I can tell you it does and with a lot less headache than a multi--speed commuter. I plan to swap out the tires this fall and give the Stealth a go for my winter commuter.
I'm happy with my Regal Stealth. I bought this bike to climb hills. Basic components are fine though wider bars and clipless pedals are a nice upgrade. It performs as it should.
Found the stock seat uncomfortable ;)
This is our second Regal bike we've gotten from Regal Bikes. We purchased our first 2 bikes back in 2013 and have now upgraded to their premium model, and they are just amazing. We had an issue with a part on one of our bikes early on and rectified the issue right away and sent a replacement part. We use our bikes almost everyday and they are perfect for our comute to work. I recommend these bike to anyone wanting a maintenance free, and reliable bike. Thanks again Regal for our great bikes and amazing service.
